GOLF FORE A CURE
ABOUT US

Golf Fore A Cure (GFAC) is a non profit organization supporting Alzheimer Research.

Golf Fore A Cure (GFAC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds for Alzheimer's Research.  We plan golf outings as a context for having fun and also to raise money for this worthy cause.  The contributions help fund the medical research and treatment for this disease that can happen to anyone.  Alzheimer's attacks the brain’s neurons, resulting in loss of memory, thinking and language skills, and behavior. It is the common cause of dementia and intellectual dysfunction.

GFAC uses the game of golf as a way to get people together and raise money for a good cause.  It's a great way for active adults to meet people, play in golf scrambles, get discounted games, and try out different courses throughout the area.  GFAC welcomes golfers of all experience levels to have fun, improve their game, and enjoy the comradery during and after a day of golf. Best of all,  players get to donate to the important cause of Alzheimer's Research!

We welcome golfers of all levels! You can come as a single or couple and we will put you in a foursome, or you can bring your own team!  After golf, we meet at a local restaurant to mingle with new and old friends.

David B. Schue is the founder of GFAC and GFAC-MeetUp, both found on the web and Facebook. GFAC meets once a month, on Saturday or Sunday, at different PBC courses.  In addition, we plan four out-of-town golf events each year, where we play in two scrambles during the day and enjoy the evening together. There are no requirements to join or donate; just come and be a part of a fantastic group of people.

Come join us for a fun day of golf and to be part of an important organization that is helping to fund Alzheimer's research.
